Dr. Shria Dhaon completed an extensive education in dentistry, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, Los Angeles. Dr. Dhaon is originally from New Delhi, India. Before coming to United States, Dr. Dhaon finished her residency in Prosthodontics from India. With a commitment to staying at the forefront of dental advancements, Dr. Dhaon regularly attends continuing education courses and professional conferences to refine skills and offer the latest techniques and treatments to patients. Additionally, she holds certifications in Implant, Invisalign and Laser dentistry.

After graduation, Dr. Dhaon moved to Austin, Texas. Dentistry is her passion and she is excited to work for HOTS Waco to apply all her past experiences and bring a perfect smile to her patients. Before moving to Waco, Dr. Shria met with passionate Dr. Lassetter and her enthusiastic team and it felt like home, like it was the missing piece of her professional life. When Dr. Dhaon is not working she keeps her adrenalin going by painting, hiking, travelling around the world, enjoying different cuisine and scuba diving. Yes, she gets a kick or splash immersing herself into the mysteries and adventures of the deep sea.

Coming from a family with three generations of doctors, Dr. Dhaon has grown up seeing her father and grandfather work to improve community health. Making rounds with her father at the hospital ER and seeing him treating patients instilled the passion to be a healthcare provider. Her Father then motivated her to be a dentist and so that she can pursue her two passions healthcare and art together.
