Dr. Guillermo Rivacoba
While Dr. Rivacoba was born and raised in San Antonio, he has also lived in Mexico and Canada, sparking a love of soccer, snowboarding, and traveling. Dr. Rivacoba graduated summa cum laude from UTSA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology while working to support his education. After graduating, Dr. Rivacoba attended the University of Health Science Center School of Dentistry, where he received the Quintessential Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Rivacoba is grateful for the opportunity to work with such talented dentists in a state-of-the-art Waco dental office.
Life at Home
After long days spent in the clinic, Dr. Rivacoba stays active by playing basketball and soccer and will wind down by playing the piano. He loves to travel and has been to 13 different countries (but can’t pick a favorite!) He is also fluent in Spanish. Dr. Rivacoba welcomes any recommendations on Waco life as he makes it his new home. He is also not-so-secretly hoping to end up on Fixer Upper and meet Chip and Joanna Gaines!
He was hand-picked by my mentor in dental school AND that out of each graduating dental school class, only ONE student is selected to win the Achievement in Restorative Dentistry award (which means excellent drilling skills!), Dr. Lassetter was awarded that award from UTSD Houston in 2016, and now Dr. Rivacoba has earned that award as well in 2021! #meanttobe
